It is known that today the cooperation relations between Uzbekistan and Germany are improving day by day, which is showing its results in tourism. The Tourism Academy, the only one in Central Asia, made a great impression on the high-ranking guest. The Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, held a dialogue with a group of students of our university at the Academy of Tourism on issues such as the conditions created for young people in Uzbekistan, the thirst for knowledge of young people.

"Silk Road" International University of ... "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage today received the students of the Samarkand branch of the specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi. During the visit, the students got acquainted with the educational buildings of our university, a modern library, and opportunities for international cooperation. Also was organized an excursion to the Samarkand Tourism Academy and students got information about practical processes in the field of tourism and cultural heritage. We are pleased to announce the launch of the (TOT) program on October 16, 2024 at the International Tourism Academy of Samarkand Campus under the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, in cooperation with the UN Tourism, organizing a 6-month training program for 20 trainers in the field of Hospitality Management aimed at improving their skills and knowledge. This program is led by leading international hospitality experts and faculty members from Switzerland, UK, Australia, UAE and Georgia that enables participants to acquire the latest knowledge and skills in the industry. Through seminars, webinars, and interactive sessions, trainers will have the opportunity to interact with leading tourism experts and faculty members of top universities, with whom share their experiences, and develop practical strategies to improve teaching and curriculum development.

On November 18 of this year in Samarkand campus of the International Academy... On November 18 of this year in Samarkand campus of the International Academy of Tourism together with the Association of Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic "Destination Osh" held Uzbek-Kyrgyz Tourism Forum. The main purpose of the forum is to increase the flow of interregional tourists, development of educational tourism. In recent years, the expansion of close friendly ties between the two neighboring countries has had a positive impact on the tourism sector, creating new tourist routes in the region and laying the foundation for further intensification of mutual cultural exchange. The event featured presentations on the tourism potential of Samarkand and Osh regions. Information was provided on tourist routes of the two regions, infrastructural opportunities and quality of services provided. Also during the event new cooperation projects, joint tourism programs and additional opportunities for attracting tourists were discussed, contracts were signed between entrepreneurs working in the field of tourism from both countries. At the end of the forum a memorandum of cooperation between Samarkand and Osh regions was signed, and further agreement was reached to work on new projects between the regions in the field of tourism.

The Samarkand campus of the UN Academy of Tourism, the only one in Central Asia, remains a convenient place for our students to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of tourism and cultural heritage. These days, full-time and part-time students of our university participate in coursework at the Samarkand Campus of the UN Academy of Tourism.
